Our Activities

Transforming Young Minds Through Strategic Action

Black Orbit Foundation operates three core programs designed to advance students from curiosity to capability, from inspiration to innovation.

School Mentorship & Motivation Program

Our Approach Our team conducts visits to junior and senior high schools throughout Ghana, delivering comprehensive sessions that introduce students to the dynamic world of technology and innovation.

Student Experience Students participate in interactive presentations covering AI, space exploration, and tech entrepreneurship. They observe real-world demonstrations of cutting-edge technology and hear compelling narratives of young African innovators achieving global impact. Through hands-on activities, we demystify complex technological concepts and facilitate question and answer sessions with technology professionals and entrepreneurs. We present practical pathways demonstrating how students can commence their innovation journey immediately.

Impact Students conclude these sessions with expanded perspectives, practical knowledge, and most critically, the conviction that they too possess the capacity to become innovators and problem-solvers.

A.I. Innovation Competition

The Challenge: Young Ghanaians between ages 7 and 15 are invited to identify challenges within their communities and propose AI-powered solutions. This initiative transcends a traditional ideas competition. It serves as a comprehensive launchpad for young innovators.

Competition Structure:
  • Idea Submission Students submit their innovative AI solution concepts addressing real community challenges.
  • Mentorship Phase Shortlisted teams receive professional guidance from experienced technology practitioners.
  • Pitch Development Finalist teams develop comprehensive presentations with our structured support.
  • Grand Finale Top innovators present their solutions to distinguished judges and audience members.
Winner Benefits Selected innovators receive seed funding to develop their innovations, ongoing technical mentorship from industry experts, and access to essential technology resources and tools. Winners also gain media coverage and recognition, along with a clear pathway to implement their solutions in actual communities.

Significance: We are not simply acknowledging promising ideas. We are cultivating Africa’s next generation of technology founders. Historical classroom projects have evolved into viable businesses. Teenage experiments have transformed into meaningful community solutions. Upcoming Competition Information regarding our next competition cycle will be announced through our official communication channels.
